It's WOYWW time again and here's my space going through and organizing my rubber seeing there some are some not stamped out so I can have a quick glace on the other side to see how it looks etc
So I'm trying to group them with those with foam, no foam then into companies/holidays it's a process that works most of the time lol.
I am always amazed at baby wipes and how they clean our stamps remove marker ink and manage to be safe enough to use on your skin to remove a mess.
So here's a close up of those I'm rearranging at the moment it's a wide assortment for sure and seeing I don't own enough of each to get there own individual pages I just try my best to theme them up one way or another :) looks like foam vs no foam at the moment lol
Winners of my little RAK day giveaway are Lynda Beazley and Eliza congrats please send me your emails so I can get you prizes to you both

I like what you're doing with your stamps - I have a bunch I need to organize. I tend to start these things and not finish them LOL.
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn
ReplyDeleteI have a drawer full of stamps and I really need to sort them out but haven't thought up a system yet! Thank you for choosing me for some RAK and thank you for leaving a lovely comment last week.
Have a happy week

Hope you get your stamps organised! Thanks for visiting already. Helen 5
ReplyDeleteOh dear, you are reminding me that I need to go through my stamps and reorganise them. I used to keep a file with all my images on but now it has got out of hand and I have sooooo many stamps it is too late to start again.
ReplyDeleteI think I would do them by manufacturer if I was starting over.
Have a great week and thanks for sharing.

Well done on all the sorting and cataloguing. One of these days I just might get around to sorting - in the meantime I snatch what time I have and have to look and search for anything I need.... Oh well, such is life.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

I can't deal with categories...it makes my teeth itch trying to decide if a collage image is floral or words or WHAT! So foam and not foam would work well for me..with some judicious placement obviously! You seem to have a lot too, how delicious!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very smRtly organised space ypu have there....... How to categorize stamps ..... A question that has puzzles crafters for centuries (probably lol) maybe you need to buy more so you have enough to fill the boxes in each category ..... I'm sure it would work
ReplyDeleteJanet @2

A nice simple system usually works well. I use "in the box and out of the box."

I love seeing how others organize and store their stamps... it looks like you have a lot of floral shapes. Have fun storing and, most of all, have fun USING them! Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland, Marit #41
ReplyDeleteEveryone has their own system for organizing stamps. I love seeing the variety. I have mine together in their own sets but most are in CD or DVD cases. Happy WOYWW!

nice stamps you have.
ReplyDeletemy stamps need organitons but I'm lazy
Such a variety of storage and cataloging of stamps, ink, paper and etc. Everybody seems to find their own workable solution.
ReplyDeleteThey say variety is the spice of life.............so crafters and artists must be the spiciest people on earth.....LOL
Binders and CD cases are both in use here, along with "'Ill file that later". The third being used the most....LOL
Thanks for visiting me this week

ReplyDeleteOh boy Nikki!!! organising stamps. I have tried so many systems with this. Finally (or probably temporally Lol!)I keep all the birthday stamps together, all the Steampunk together etc. but some manufacturers stamps such as Tim Holtz (I have quite a few) I keep those altogether.
ReplyDeleteSo good luck with the stamp job and thanks for the visit. Happy crafting, Angela x 60

ReplyDeleteI so mistreat my stamps, it makes me feel bad! They're so expensive too. I never clean them, unless I use them with acrylics, and I just dump them in a box. Guilty! Looks like you're doing a good job organizing them. I've received your RAK, Nikki! Thank you so much! It is featured in my blog post today! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDooodle #15
ReplyDeleteOooh How I can RELATE! I have so many stamps now that I just purchased a hot/cold laminating machine to create my own stamp storage sheets but I don't think I have enough shelf space for all the binders I am going to need! I would LOVE to know what catagories work for you in organzing your stamps... I have SO MANY.... Grin Love our desk! Lynne- #70
ReplyDeleteI just use water to clean my stamps- I'm too cheap to buy baby wipes!
ReplyDeleteI always feel at home visiting your desk!

Hi Nikki - it's always great to get kit sorted - just a shame it doesn't stay that way, eh?!! My problem area is paper - do I sort it by colour, pattern, size?? It's such a motley collection, I end up flicking through loads to find just what I need. Hope you manage to solve it. Happy WOYWW, Chris # 21 PS Agree with you about wipes - fantastic invention!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are getting organized.
