WOYWW

HAPPY WOYWW everyone !!! Last week we had some wild weather up here Freezing Rain and really bad wind storms took out a bunch of trees all around us which is wild to see thank goodness none of it effected us at all we where lucky and didn't loose power over Easter weekend. So here's my space and I'm working on a pocket letter a new one (for a while now) trying to figure out if I want to use the images I coloured or another one is it ok to cover over an opening in a pocket letter ? humm cause if it is I will use one of the images I have I'm thinking the one that matches but I thought to try 2 different styles just to see how they would look. I've started this Pocket Letter then got stuck ! on what to do next (problem = Background paper so pretty !!!)
So here's the pull back of my space it's looking just about the same again but I have managed to send off a get well card to my Great Uncle who is in the hospital at the moment recovering from a heart attack he had while he was sleeping ( thank goodness ) They said he's doing Great so good on him :)
I'll try and pop around to as many peeps as I can
hugs Nikki

  15. That paper is too pretty to cover...just use it as the back!! These pocket letters are lovely..will have to source some pockets, I can't remember the last place I got some. And yes, I think it's OK to cover the opening..after all, the recipient isn't actually going to open the pockets! Good wishes for your Uncle....b ed seems to be better than in the queue at the supermarket, but it must have been a horrid shock!

  17. The pocket letter looks lovely. I love that paper. Shsame to cover it. Can you not just embellish what's there, like adding a bit of glitter here or there or clear embossing some bits.
I spy a wheelchair pic you are in the process of colouring. I'm intrigued as to what you are going to do with that.
    Thanks for visiting already,
Happy WOYWW and have a great week

  18. Your desk looks wonderfully tidy. I like the two versions of the stamped image. I like the brown and red one.

I'm glad you survived the storm. It sounds like it was pretty rough. My Mum says it always seems to happen on a bank holiday weekend.

  20. Hi Nikki, we got the first flush of the storm up here and, fortunately, it wasn't quite so bad though we did get torrential rain. I like the paper you are using in your pocket letter. Both the images you are considering are lovely but my favourite is the one with browns and red. Wishing you a happy crafty week. Elizabeth x #46

  27. Playing catch up on visits, a sleepless night has turned into fun and inspiration. Glad to hear your uncle is doing ok Dealing with similar issues with my mom the past 2 days and our weather is rainy, damp winds and gloom. So feel blessed also, as could be storm damages. Love that background paper you have for the pocket letter. Pretty little girl images you've colored also. Weekend should be wonderful, 60's, SUNSHINE and some fun retirement parties. Wishing you a fun weekend.
