Snail Mail

This is Snail Mail from Limited Runs I used this image to send all the way down to my friend Judy in Australia there are days the post office is slower then a snail I swear.

I wanted a bright Cheerful card to mail and this is what I ended up making
When I make a card I honestly have next to no plans with it just maybe an image and zero direction lol

Challenges

The Card Concept - Bold and Layered - Love using a bold colour and simply layering it up to make the image just pop off the page this is a take on a  CAS card really just with Designer papers instead of white space as there are really next to no embellishments.

Evil Easter Bunny

Happy Easter Weekend all have a good one !!!
Well this is not your typical Easter card for sure it falls into the darker morbid area but this so works for my sense of humor and my other half's lol.  Now this one is for my DH he is a choco-holic when there is chocolate to be found in the house.  A while back I won two images from SLS Lines and this is one I picked I wanted something darker to play with. I could draw something up but I love to use other people's work it adds new interests and inspiration to play with.

Happy WOYWW & may Julia be doing better too
Well last week we popped by Ikea and I said that really wanted one of those metal carts they aren't large but just what I was looking for and have wanted for a long time so that took a lot of stuff off of my desk once I got it all built and organized took about 2 hours to do it all. The DH walked in and said it looked great perhaps I should get a second one lol but I don't think I have enough stuff left to fill up a 2nd one seeing somethings are easier to get to  when they are left out. But my desk is looking neater and it's all been shifted again. But that's what happens when you get a new storage unit.maybe I will get a second one ??? Who knows maybe I will LOL
So here is my space this week
The little box shelves a made have all been recycled too.

Drawer unit from top to bottom

1. Double sided tapes, acrylic stamping blocks, Charms, Washi
2. Embossing powder
3. Ribbons fit all in one space so much easier to look at them all
4. Ink pads all of them together now
5. Glitter glue, glitter, flocking
6. Punches. Martha stewart and all my little ones

So that's my reason to yet again move around my desk and make it
even look more empty. Now if I got one more my shelves would become more of a display area then one filled with craft stash ??

The sewing machine will be going back into the closet to live but I was finally making a few curtains for our bedroom no more bed sheets on the windows ... 2 years later ... but finally done.

One of the Zombie Christmas Cards I'm working on I know it's super early but I really just wanted to colour up this fun image and I made it a window card just have to attach on a little tag and I'll show him off really soon :)

Coffee Gift Card Holder

So here's a little Coffee Cup Gift card holder this is using Limited Runs Blank Coffee Cup only for  $2.00  so I played around with it to get the look I wanted and trimmed the cup a little shorter to fit in the for you and cupcake brad on the bottom. I love making things ATC size it's a fab way to use up scraps.

I did stamp the cup a couple times with a flower stamp in pink then went over it really quickly with my markers to wash it down and created the blurry effect

This week at Incy Wincy we have 2 sponsors Ppinky dolls and Dr.Digi's our challenge is for you to 3,2,1,  GO  so you will need 3 Papers ,2 Buttons,1 Ribbon

Dr.Digi has an amazing amount of boys images to play with and I actually made two cards with his wonderful works there are buttons on both one is a brad button and the other like Micro buttons. Both of these have been coloured with markers and I took my time shading and pushing the inks around to get them just how I wanted on Capt I added in a little 6b Pencil and just blended it in to give him a little more depth to his outfit. Also had to colour the white ribbon to be grey with my markers.

Coffee ATC

I've made a little ATC coffee cup with holder in the back for a pack of instant coffee ...Sorry I drank all that was in the house but what else is new.  So here's my mini creation using a Limited Runs Digi Called Blank Coffee Mug 1 it's only $2.00 Too. The stamp is from Fresh Brewed which I just love to use all the time. I tried to colour the cup as it was one of those hand fired glaze with it running down the cup love those

So I fussy cut the cup out and added a shadow to the paper enjoy

I loved this stamp from CC Designs it's called " Hot Sip"  I love this paper too this is now in my pantry right by all my teas and coffee area the logo has been hand written out by me which I like 

The frame I found in my home long ago forgotten in a box and empty so perfect for this project 

I won this stamp from AJ Bodine for her winter card using this stamp and I know it's one of her faves

Happy WOYWW this week and as we know our Leader in this adventure Julia isn't feeling the best these days so sending her happy thoughts her way that she's having a good day today.

So here's my space this week it has some happy mail from Judy she painted that card for me it's adorable those two bears, along with some lovely handmade objects that are stunning. In the middle I'm working on a pocket letter that eventually I will swap with once done to who?? not sure yet it's all over the place little steam punk roses butterflies It's random and so far I"m liking it  then the pictures to colour up some evil bunny and a zombie Santa that I want to colour up just won them so why not play with them

 As you can tell I've moved things around in my little boxes making things fit into a smaller space plus with the little giveaway I had last week it made enough room in my box for the chipboard. I swear my area is in a constant flux I should make some new little boxes up the ones I've been using are getting old and tired looking or at least new drawers for them they only last so long before they want to fall apart

took a while but I got it the way I liked it sometimes me and flowers just don't mix very well I try to use them only to take them off and put them away again.

Fairy Birthday wishes

There are days when you just have lots of ready to go images to create a card and this image I played around with my markers and then the sky is created with H20 to give that sparkling effect 

When making clouds you leave the white and add in the darker colours so the white becomes the part you notice it's the opposite way you would think to paint them. Just keep adding in layers to get the effect your looking for

Bubbles and a Birthday

I coloured this image up a while ago just playing with colours on it trying out different hair colours.

I love the little bubbles on it. So I finally used it to make a birthday card I'm sure we've all had bubbles on our birthdays no matter how old you get they are still fun to do

The Hair is using a few shades of Grey with a deep blue added in 1st to blend away into the greys

Prince Charming

Yep this is one bright card for sure I'm sure you won't get a prince if you kiss him but it's a fun image
