Last Time I was at Fabricland to make my Halloween Cape I found this sweet thread on sale and thought how perfect it would be for xmas Cards it's Red/Green mixed together so perfect for C&S xmas Cards They always look elegant. The paper is embossed Sparkle paper so at least it the sparkles don't get all over your hands.

What a great way to get your Christmas Stash up to I've just started to make Christmas Card sets I was inspired by Jennifer's to create 6 Cards at once and I will be more for sure.

Wow this has been a busy day for me finished outside cutting the hedges between us and the neighbours they are finally straight instead of the wonky way they once where short at the front and went in a long diagonal line up to the back and they where getting very leggy

Here's a little Mini Tag Card (8 of them in total) I've made for my Christmas gifts this

Year. Also I made a Christmas tag box and now it's getting full of homenade tags. Waiting for their presents. I love using Kraft Paper for Xmas and just use fancy colour bows and Tags. The Snowflake has been stamped with Merry Christmas all over it then tinted red and embossed with WoW clear.

More Christmas Cards a whole set

Sometimes when you start a Card it doesn't go the way you thought it would be

I was going to have it go horizontal and as I played around with it and didn't end up going the way I thought it would go. The little ornament is hanging from the tag it's then it is fixed to the card.

 I found a challenge that inspires you to make a Christmas cards 6 of them
and for me that's just perfect !!

Warm and Cold Christmas

This is what I think of when I blend these two colours into a Xmas card, the cold of outside and being toasty warm inside mmm now I want some cocoa

This year we aren't decorating the house due to the fact that we are under major renos

and living in it, so I'm keeping it all tucked away so it won't get all covered in the nasty dust that get's about the house. Next year we have plans to be closer to finished and the tree will be up and the rooms will each have their own colour pallet to enjoy. At least I can get extra decorations when all the sales are on :)

This is a great way to use up scraps the colours don't really have to be exact you can just tint them all to match better which is what I did to all the leaves ... I would recommend tinting the papers 1st not after you punch them all out ... like I did lol

WOYWW + Candy to Win !!!

It's Wed and it's WOYWW !! Today I got a little happy mail today and I'm still working on more Christmas Cards too as you can see the little Santa's and Red papers just have to figure out what I want to create :) The little girl in red is a new Digi I've been working on (ALICE) and I like how she turned out she will be in Limited Runs Soon with some friends  and my first set of Popcorn Stamps aren't those ducks to cute !!

I did also get an amazing stack of stamped images from Brenda All LOTV images soo Sweet of her they where on the desk but when I went to grab the camera I took them with my computer table where I 'm soo excited to have them I WILL be Colouring a bunch of them tonight for sure :)

Clean and Simple Christmas

So this is about as clean and simple as I can get any more and I'd be mailing a folded piece of paper lol. It felt a little easy so I had to make up two. The handmade envelopes took longer unless you count drying time I've made up two of them to try different colours. I think my fave is the blue and green one. As a holiday tradition we would hang the ornaments all together. As I've gotten older I have a collection different vintage and new  glass ornaments and always try to pick a few new ones every year. I still have a few from when I was a kid and those are the ones I love the most seeing we use to get to hang them as a kid with my father watching us to make sure we didn't drop them or could reach where we wanted them.

Candy Canes MMM

Who doesn't love a good have Candy Cane my fave is butterscotch ones mmm the regular ones are good but I love the mini ones best. This is the first card I added some paint to the Basic Grey paper was so bright but I love it and wanted to use it so I added a little antique white paint to it and voila it's perfect looks like snow touched it.

Well Last week I showed you the pumpkins I was going to carve and when I finally finished them this is what I created they turned out better then I thought and I love how the little kiddies just loved them they where so much more fun to see. I love to write in my pumpkins so I created one that said Happy Halloween with ghosts and when making these I did use his wood working tools to carve them out. The Bat took about 20 Min to carve the Pumpkin face I spent about an hour one and the Happy Halloween maybe 2 hours it was getting the light to sneak thru the carved area that takes time you should always carve the areas out 1st then hallow out the pumpkin check to see if you can see the candle in it then do the cut outs ... I never remember to do this until after I'm done the pumpkin and thinking why can't I remember to do this when I start because once you do the cut outs it gets very flimsy in areas and it's so easy to break them. Oh and I forgot to take a picture of myself the whole nite funny how that happens

So Next is my space this week not to much going on at the moment just sorting thru my basic grey papers these are all 6 by 6 size putting them in matching colours so I can have it all organized and find them easier I have them all labeled up by Companies and assorted colours to make it quick to find. That and I find it gives me inspiration when trying to create
One of my most over used MS punch. So if you want pop over to Julia's and see everyone else's desk and I will be having some Candy to mail really soon just have to get myself organized al little more and will be posting it soon look for it !!!
