WOYWW + a EASTER RAK !!!

Well here is my space I'm still sewing more stuff so materials are out I'm not going to buy any more till I use some of this stuff up and even more suprizing I thought the material was only about 20- 70 a yard Nope I was wrong it runs between $70 to $240+ a yard .... who pays that HOLY SMOKES that's crazy expensive no wonder it's so pretty to touch lets just say some I just wanna rub and perhaps frame WOW so
I've also been colouring and right now looking at this picture I think my space is messy !! I know
some of you are just rolling your eyes when you see/hear that lol
but I can't help it I like it tidy
So go check out everyone else's space at Julia's and check out what this is all about !!

I'll also do another Rak again for a GC to LIMITED RUNS
so just leave a comment and your in
and I'll pop around to as many spaces as I can this
chocolate filled weekend.

hugs Nikki

  1. Only a fool (!) would pay that much... have a great WOYWW and a great Easter.
Don't include me in your very kind RAK as I don't have a printer and wouldn't be able to use it...! Helen no # due to no #linky, lol!

  2. Messy - I wish my desk was that messy (Smile) - for the past few weeks I have had a cabinet sitting on mine for a project I have yet to get to!

(The cats are NOT pleased at all!)

Anyway, have a wonderful Easter weekend and hope you get all of your favorite chocolate in your basket!

  3. Thanks for the earlier visit. http://www.varycarol.com/oil-pastel-smudge.html is the link you asked for. Have fun with it! They are OIL pastels.
Ooh, expensive fabric or what - enjoy and blow the expense. I have decided that where purchases are concerned it is better not to have regrets.

  4. I've linked you. Not a clue as to why you couldn't see the linky widget..it was there! I am super impressed by the extent of the fabric prices..I wouldn't pay it myself, but I pay way more than I should for paper, so I do get it!
Forgotten that its Easter this weekend..boy it's early!

  5. Blimey! Are the threads made of gold and silver??

Have fun using up stash - but maybe the cheap stuff first?

    :)
Happy WOYWW and I'm not fooling'!

  6. Wow $ 240 sure is a lot of money. But I know that some "design" fabrics cost a fortune. But fortunately there is reasonable stuff too and also pretty.
    Have fun using it up
    Thanks for your earlier visit!

  7. The heart was half of a christmas tree ornament that you are meant to fill with stuff...here is the link to my step out photos:http://bellasscrappinspace.blogspot.com/2015/03/finnabair-recipe-heart-canvas.html where you can see it all bare before I painted it. Yes your desk is not a mess in my eyes...

  8. Holy moly what a price tag that is an absurd amount, no wonder I don't sew anything, well it is a good reason not to sew being so expensive. I think I will stick to papercrafting it seems cheaper. As for tidy if this is what you want then that is OK, some can handle mess and others can't. Thanks for sharing your desk and I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

    Happy WOYWW

  9. It's strange when you think that ready made stuff in the shops can be cheaper than making your own, it doesn't make sense but it must be lovely fabric for that price.
Have a lovely Easter and a happy woyww, Angela x 29

  10. Hey Nikki, thanks for the visit earlier, I laughed at your comment about spying a new die you want. This happens to me every week. I love to sew too and I have been really upset at how expensive fabric is in the US. I have a market in London that I used to go to and buy fabric for a pound a metre..my friends and family, now bring me fabric when they come and visit. Happy Easter. Cx

  11. Lots of great stuff on your desk this week. Yup, some of those fabrics are ridiculously expensive, but they are wonderful. :-)

Thanks for the blog visit and the nice comments.

    Happy Woyww,
