Everything Christmas Now

So I've created another collage Christmas card and these are fantastic to use up bits and pieces that are just around and arranged on a card. I've used some papers that I've had for a while and made them more in the spirit of the hoilday who says you can't keep adding on them. So pretty well everything here has been coloured differently to add in the more festive feeling.

Collage Santa

Using everyday papers and making them work for a Christmas Card and creating a collage xmas card which I like so I'm making alot of 9 by 4 inch cards this year and they are a bit of a challenge with the length but I'm loving these so far. Working on Tall and Thin Christmas Cards to work thru my stack of envelopes to match

So I'm still crafting on my floor but it's better then nothing so Christmas is what I have on the go for now with the odd other card thrown in for when I need it :) So check out the rest of the desks at Julia's Blog

Here's all my Pattern Papers 12 by 12 and my 6 by 6's and the little folders hold the smaller scraps I'm full to the limit so I've got to use it up and I plan on it there are soooo many new ones out that I'm dying to buy but alas ... Limited Space = USE it Up !!!!

Art Book Cover

Now this is just a simple cover I've made up for my niece's book it's a sketch book for her to draw in and I'm hoping she will like it I've kept it flat so she can carry it anywhere with her and it won't get snagged and bug her when she's drawing I have covered the whole thing in clear embossing so it won't get to dirty and will be abled to be cleaned easy and no one can steal it seeing her name is right there :)

Just to say ....

 

Well sometimes you need a quick card ... Minus glue drying time of course

but Flower Soft Toppers sure did save me time .. no colouring so I did use alot of

Flower Soft on it and mixed in a little Pink Micro beads for extra subtle sparkle.

Plus when your trying to keep your embellishments thin Flower Soft sure is the way to go this can be mailed anywhere for the cost of a stamp YAH!!!

Pocket Holder

This isn't even a card it's a Pocket Holder with a little pull out treat inside for my sister I've used and envelope(A10) as the base and sealed it shut then cut the top off it so you can pull out your surprize ... I think I should add a little ribbon so she'll notice it :)

Well here I am posting this Back up because the 1st post was messing up my blog and driving me crazy my sidebar at the bottom and just acting whacked all because of my 1st

post Strange I say Strange!!!

So this week at Incy Wincy we are creating Bookmarks and I love to make them up alot!!!

they use up scraps and I read alot plus I always make some for my nieces and one of my friends has tons she leaves a bookmark in every book she reads so they all have fancy tassels sticking out of them :)

Happy Day !!!!

That's what I'm looking for with this little card as I'm playing along at MFT Sketch Challenge

this month to be a Guest Designer and I wanted something bright and Cheery I've used a Pure Innocence and My NEW Die-namics I've used 2 of them which I Love I have a few more and a wish list the size of my arm!!!

You can find this challenge here for My Favorite Things and I've followed along the sketch they provided. You'll notice that I added in a Full Ballon to the image this is hand cut out and then embossed 5 times to make it bubble a little and have a shine to it :)

Little Hello's

Lately I've been trying the sketch challenges to try something different for me

I 've followed Totally Gorjuss's and I loved the Background paper and didn't want to lose the fairy so

I've added in an acetate layer with flower soft and white flocking around the edges and 4 little mini star brads to hold it in place. Who wants to see glue attached behind the acetate Yuck!!!

The fairy paper and Adorable little stamp is from Asia I was lucky to have won her candy a while ago.  I went to town and coloured this guy up a few times but this is what worked best with the paper.

What's on your Work desk Wed For me it's Floor but I don't mind at all my cat usually cuddles right up beside be and he keeps me company. You can see I'm in the middle of making an Xmas card 4 by 10 inches Standard business letter size (LOVE THOSE).I'm still playing with placement and getting everything where I want it. A couple digi's and stamps I've been colouring in and a challenge win Crimson Cloud die cuts ... they are gonna make some sweet Xmas flowers so I've got a few things on the go and that's my scrap stamp sheet when I'm checking out how it will look before I stamp things where I want :)
