WOYFW

Here's my desk this week I new Penguin that your getting a sneak peak from Limited Runs he's not even in the store yet Just finished him up and he's been tested to see how he looks
I think he's a cutie :) Some trees that I've cut up to go with the penquin
I Think his name is going to be "Harold"
Below him is a DT Card that I'm trying to work on and not so sure where I'm going with it yet lol.
My Stamps are stored in 2 binders I try my best not to go to crazy and go over board any time I do I share them with my sister and we trade back and forth below is my little friendly, thank you sentiments .. You can honestly never have enough of these and I love the smaller ones to fit in little tags and just randomly add in any little space, plus I still have room to fit some more in even if I have to add in another page lol. But I have found that at least once a year you need to move all the stamps around so they don't get over stuck on the acetate otherwise this works perfect for me flip and look for what I need
UPDATE!!
Just in case those that need to remember who's company makes which stamp
I stamp them across the page then add a little colour dot beside those that aren't the same
So I can remember mostly these little guys are Studio G with a couple imaginisce thrown in
on my other pages I have sets together with company & set names to know who's who
and they are stuck on acetate with a sleve to go around them.

thank you for peaking in and check out everyone elses desk at Julia's
I'll pop into everyone that visits me
Happy Wed
hugs Nikki

  3. The penguin is really cute. I often don't know where I'm going with a project until it's nearly finished. Have an awful time trying to take step by step photos for DT work and usually have to make it again! Happy WOYWW. Pam#14

  11. Happy WOYWW. Such a cute penguin. I just moved my Xmas Stash Box into a more convenient corner of my craft room, so I don't have to keep lifting it off another box (it is very heavy!) - and that reminded me that I really need to get on with Xmas crafting. I made 2 cards in January, and then stopped! Ali x #28

  12. Me too, small sentiments are the biz..I've never got enough! Neat storage. Neater still that you can trade with your sissy! Funny how the character emerges and suddenly he has a name. Harold. Great name, and great image, I think he'll be popular!

  24. Cute little penguin and I like your idea of stamp storage. I have noticed that sometimes they do stick so it will be interesting to see how clear stamps last over time.

  27. Hi nikki, Harold is indeed a cute wee penguin - he's going to be popular methinks :) I can see that it's handy having all your 'thank you' stamps together but remembering details of each stamp, e.g. manufacturer, etc., would be difficult for me - I think I'd get confused and forget. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day, Elizabeth x # 36

  28. I'll ignore the dreaded December holiday and focus on the storage. I do exactly this, and it has made finding my stamps so much easier. I love being able to see them all and storing so many of them in a fairly small space. MUCH easier than the CD holders I used before.

  33. You’re so organised with your stamps Nikki.
I did start to do the same with my unmounted stamps but now I’m giving up the card making and selling most of my stamps there’s no point in trying to finish project.
Loving Harold, I bet he’s going to be really popular come Christmas.
    Happy Crafting!

  41. Wow super cute penguin. I store my stamps the same way except I have now got 20 folders and loads of stamps that need to be done to go in more files lol, I laminate the sheets rather then acetate and then put them in clear plastic sheets. Happy woyww :-) Kezzy xxx

  44. Harold is very cute! Only two folders? Wow, I have 9 and rising, and then there are the wood mounted stamps, and the folders are only the unmounted rubber stamps so the clear ones are in concentina files!

I am very late for WOYWW, but I wasn't well.
