Well it's funny when we go thru our stash what lands on our desks last week Halloween ... I honestly don't know why but I found some stash and had to play with it started a couple projects just have to finish them all up, I know Halloween is so far away but I love it and we are moving next month and we finally get to unpack our locker ... 1 year and 1 month later it's a corner gas time capsule lol so I get some stash that's been packed and the rest of our house out YAHH!!! It's going to be very freaky to have all our stuff back after so long living without it ... Humm Perhaps a garage sale, now that we have a driveway and who knows what the old owners of the house leave behind in it. I don't even know where my little space will be seeing we will be living in renovations for along time. I hope to carve a little space out somewhere. So I can go and hide
On to my floor desk
A Christmas card I'm working on don't know if it needs anything else but it's a work in progress, Thinking of trying to emboss some paper snowflakes that is my embossing pad

It's good to catch up on your life. I had NO idea you were moving, but I am sure you're really excited. Love your attitude about the driveway, too. That made me laugh.

Oh so your sweet sister is as clever as you, huh - what a great and useful gift. Bet you're getting a bit itchy about unpacking now - you've been so patient! And seasonal crafting isn't all it's cracked up to be.. I never do it at the right time..I have to wait till I'm in the mood!
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki,
ReplyDeleteYour sister is pretty clever to create such a cool mat! Nothing wrong with working on Halloween or Christmas this time of the year... whatever sparks your interest and creativity, I say go for it!

Hi Nikki - non-slip mat is a good idea - I have stuff in boxes in my garage that I haven't unpacked yet and I have been here 3 years... I'll get round to it - one day LOL... Happy WOYWW - Mxx #99
ReplyDeleteAaah the getting re-aquainted with all the stuff you have packed away... know that feeling well! I am sure you will be able to find a lovely niche somewhere to create in... maybe even graduate to desk? LOL Will have to go back and read the embossing mat bit again... it sounds like a handy thing to have and I think I have all the ingredients!! Annette #6

Hi Nikki,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the earlier visit. How exciting to be able to "un-pack" after so long a time. If I had to wait THAT long I would now own 2 of everything....LOL
Like that Christmas card on your desk/floor

Moving, stashing, storing things for a long(er) time.. it sounds both annoying as well as exciting... I do hope you have space for a craftroom somewhere in the new house. Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #91
ReplyDeleteI smiled when I saw your snowflakes as I am really hating the heat here in NYC. Having a heatwave, and sure wish it would cool down! Enjoy the week! Winnie#86

Clever embossing mat. Now following your blog via email. Am posting your blog candy on my sidebar.

Love that embossing mat - now I have bought two! Never mind. I bought two (in America) and cut them iln half - now I use the one half more than the big one but the others I gave away. With your tip (sisters make) I can do some more and give them to other friends. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell, congrats on the move, do hope all goes well and that you are very happy in your new home. Am sure you will soon 'carve out' that special place for yourself. It could be the first room to be completed!
Sorry I am so late - first I got hooked on cleaning (yes cleaning) and then I had to play catch up on my blog replies so I did the numbered ones first but hey ho, here I am and the wish is still the same - Thanks for visiting me, Happy WOYWW and have a good week. Hugs, neet 13 xx
Hoping everything goes OK. I would dread moving.
ReplyDeletePlease count me in for the candy and have a great weekend.
Carol
