Little Xmas

Last Card for this month to get ahead for Christmas based this on CASE-ing Christmas their sketch 

Altered it a bit by using one of my Tim Holtz Tags and attaching it to the card to give it a little extra something. I like how this turned out used the last of my little bling ornaments too

WOYWW + Winners

WOYWW it's that time again to show off our spaces check out Julia's place to know what's going on link in my side bar and I've actually made a tut for how to make a Oatmeal box Ink holder Check it out in this POST Hopefully it makes sense cause that's a 50/50 chance there lol. Here's the new one added in and refinished to match in my space.

So here's my space this week

Doing a little colouring I won this image so how could I not play with it a few times and to the left is a card I'm working on for my DT hidden of course. I threw all my bling into a little black box so it can be hidden away when I'm not using it. I own more then I thought.
Up top of my space I found an really old piggy bank from when I was a kid this guy is ugly according to my other half but I love that he's been around for as long as I have even if his hair is falling out lol

but that's just me he has a few nickles and dimes from when I was little in it still so I cleaned him up and put him on display just to say see I do like him lol 

Cleaned off my inspiration area wanted a change and it all had to go 

Close up of the images I was working on found out when I tried to do no lines that when I wanted to do the bubbles I first embossed them with clear then put over top glossy effects 

it can change some of the colours to a really light look on them which I didn't want the 

other image is sill being worked on and I'm trying her as very fair skinned so far

a lot of blending to create this soft look and so far I'm happy with them

Ink Stamp Holder For next to nothing

This will be a Quick Little Tut on how I used an Oatmeal Box as my Ink Stamp Holder. It Holds 10 Inks in the end and doesn't take up too much room in my space and Most supplies you should have on hand so this is going to cost very little just your time.

You will need

Scissors or exacto Blade

Tape or Glue (I used Tape) You could use a glue Gun if you want to too.

Thick Card Stock 1 sheet 12 by 12 or Scraps if you have

CardStock

1.Cut 9 Pieces of THICK cardstock any color you like into 3.5 by 3.5 Inch Squares

 (About 9 Centimeters)

2.Fold over 1/4 inch on 2 of the outer opposite sides down, creating a flap

For the Box

1. Measure every 2 centimeters and Draw a line Across the box

 I left the edges of the box on just folded them inside and Taped them down.

2. Cut out the Lines you'll notice I'm not that straight exactly this does have some 

forgiveness when creating it just cut right to one back end and a little bigger then the paper 

you will be using as the dividers (they slide in easier this way)

3. Slide the folded edges through each hole and tape it down

Keep the paper bends going all one way to add extra support

4. Now your box is done 

Slide your inks in and enjoy

I Just taped together 2 other boxes and then wraped the whole thing

in craft paper to make it one unit

the little slide in boxes are made the same way as the ink shelves just

less shelves and 5 little cardstock boxes slide in :)

Just following a Sketch

This week our sponsor is Ppinky Dolls and here's what I created this has taken the sketch and stretched it out and then added in a few extras. I didn't like how the papers looked in the BG so I painted over it and added in some faux stitching
I also thought this image need to be coloured in pencil crayons to give it a soft look

So I moved a stuff around a little so my markers are lower and off to the side easier to work with plus more space for my little area to post things up to inspire and I have nothing on the go at the moment I have a BD lunch on the weekend so I've got her card all set to go with me and that's about it I do want to make another little paper tower for my inks that don't really stack well and will be making that up soon funny how an Oatmeal box can hold 10 ink pads perfectly and all it cost me to do is my time and use up a little stash I already have at home so easy. I'll try and take some pictures to show you how I make one.

Easels can always be a challenge

Ok so Roll your eyes on past this Christmas Card it's only January but I can't help myself and I've managed to go through some stock piled stash that is just lying about from FOREVER it seems 

This card is Based on Casing Christmas and I found my red not red enough and my green was not green enough so thank goodness for Ink pads and Voila brighter colours

Isn't Chalk boards all the rage well I wanted to be able to see the writing so I wrote on them with a white Gel Pen then heat embossed a little bit of white dots to look worn out a bit.

With this layout how could I not use a little sitcker Christmas tree it was just Perfect for this challenge

In the Sea

This stamp was a gift from a good friend of mine isn't she gorgeous all coloured up now I should have let the ink dry a little longer instead of not waiting instead of instantly colouring it right up.

Inside is the stamp this is just my holder seeing that Sweet Pea stamps have a lot of details in them it's nice to have a little reference for when I stamp it out again.

Faded Pretty in Pink

Here is something a little new for me I've stamped the image out it a soft yellow brown and then coloured her in using various shades of pinks and browns to give her depth and to make it seem like light it refecting off of her.  Had to sew the one sheet onto the back ground sheet seeing it's acetate

and glue just can be so difficult at times on it :) but I'm happy how this turned out and I managed to include flowers Yah !!

Red Fairy

Here's a sweet little fairy which is now a stamp folder. I bought these studio G cards for the 5 by 5 envelopes and struggled with the odd shaped edge they be a bit of a pain to add papers too so these will all be CAS like. I've spent along time colouring her in with lots of layers slowly built up to try and create the blended look.

WOYWW & 2 Little Raks

Here's my space this week and I'm making a little valentine card for fun seeing it's been a while since I've made one and there is my ribbon box and my clear stamp binder at the end of my desk.

So here is a close up of what I've been doing I've been slowly using up my stash so it's not taking up so much room according to my DH but it's not that bad, unless your a guy lol I'm also got a two little RAK's Up for grab that will be for two lucky Peeps and they are a little Christmas Related too sorry if it's a little early for some of you but I have extra stash up for grabs I'll put something else together shortly

I do have that ATC to trade with  scrappystickyinkymess aka Mary Anne just need her snail mail address to pop it in the post :)

This week at Incy Wincy we have a new sponsor Aurellia Art and our challenge is Coloured inspired I've used her image - Shelby. This challenge made me realize I don't own a lot of purple colours so I made do with what I did own. Which didn't turn out to bad I tried to have a little or a lot of the colour pallet we where asked to use and it's a fun combo when it's all done :)

Well this is what is on my desk the 6 months later an WOYWW 5 ATC that went lost in the post to Diane it showed up Yesterday so if anyone wants it let me know and I'll Pop it in the post to you I think I made another one and mailed it off already. So I have a spare If more then 1 person wants it I'll just put your names in a hat and pull it from there :) and my stash Page 4 sale has been updated  too. A pull out view of my space at the moment when I do this it makes me want to get better organized (I can hear some of you laughing lol) it's a small area but it works for me

Simple Birthday Card

Made a Birthday card and thought I'd try out one of these Heidi Swapp Card base that has a tag that you have to lift up to get inside the card, had this for over a year just looking at it I had to hand cut out the tag inside to get it to fit proper and it didn't turn out to badly. I've used a Some Odd Girl Digi I found on my computer from so long ago I don't think I've ever used it before. Stock Piled digital stamps at least they don't make a mess and take up tons of room !!

Hot Cocoa Pocket Card

Welcome Back to Incy Wincy Challenges hope everyone had fantastic Holiday time mine was just right and here's something I made using a Bugaboo Image. Our Challenge this week is Numbers I thought it would be great to use it a different way and make a winter recipe card. I didn't want to make a Christmas card yet but it's close just a winter card 

Inside of my card ... there's a pocket to hold Hot Chocolate ... and after Christmas who has any left to give out it's all in our bellies lol
