WOYWW

Here is my space this week we had a Micheal's store open up around the corner from me so close to us it's a 15-20 min walk away. Those are my new little mini recollections (white) punches these are great for tiny add on's one is a flower and the other a Star they go quickly when they are in stock and for one $1.50 wonder why ? lol . So I've been colouring lots lately, the cards I had on my desk last week are still the same just parts be put together got side tracked with other things and have to figure out what I want them for lol.

The Card I'm creating is for a challenge that ends tomorrow don't know if I'll get it done in time but I'm trying :) and those dilly beans images are for an upcoming DT Thing but they have only been coloured up pulled out my watercolours and pastels for those to play with it's been a while since I used them but I'll be using them more loved the results.
My Space hasn't changed much since the move up but on a high note I haven't had to dust it everytime I sit down YAHH!!!

One last ATC to trade before the big day and one for who is below me.

Thanks for looking and I'll be off to check out everyone else's space
 hugs Nikki

  1. Your desk simply SCREAMS color. From the pencils, pens, and inks, to the lovely images you have colored, this is one very colorful desk.

Thanks for sending your link. I can't get to you from your icon, so I was thrilled to be able to find you this way tonight. And congrats on getting that new Michael's store near you. I agree that's a great price on those punches.

  3. Hi Nikki - a craft store within walking distance is sure going to be a mixed blessing! The colouring is very pretty, and great to have a stock that you can draw on for unexpected cards. Happy WOYWW, Chris # 15

  7. I just want to visit a Michaels store and purchase what I want one day. Actually a Hobby Lobby too we don't have either here in Australia. No wonder those punches sell fast. Lucky you having the shop so close.

    Thanks for sharing.

  8. Your cards have such beautiful colours and that is one impressive collection of pens too. We don't have Michaels here but I assume it must be a big craft store, sounds dangerous.
    Have a great week.

  9. Very neat and tidy desk, Nikki. I'd be in Michael's all the time if we had one nearby - but we don't even have them at all in the UK! These days I am trying to make things out of stuff I haven't bought - recycled rubbish etc.!! It saves the pennies for the things I can't make, like paints.

I haven't even looked at the ATC business yet but hopefully I'll manage to do something in time!

  13. Loved seeing your desk... especially like the tacky glue bottle upside down... the only way to store it.

  16. Sweet deal on the punches. Aah a desk belonging to someone who loves to color. Lots of markers and pencils. You're the first to pick up on that my board was made using a stencil! I'll have four extra to trade for the big day. Thanks for the earlier visit! Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Nan G #82

  17. Beautifully coloured images and what a tempting pot of pencils you have there! I've never been in a Michaels store, I don't think we have them here but I'm very jealous you have one so close by! Happy WOYWW :o) Annie C #74

  18. It sounds as though this Micheal's
store is well loved, we don't have them in England, as far as I know. It is a mixed blessing having one so close, we have a Range near us which sells crafting stuff amongst other things and it is fatal going in there lol!
    Happy crafting, Angela x 49

  19. Thanks for your visit, Nikki, and I'm glad you like my desk! All those rows of stuff are distress stains. I agree, it's so easy to get carried away and spend loads on stuff you might not use lol!! In some ways I'm glad we dont' have Michael's here in the UK! I am the same if I go to a craft show.

  21. I miss Michaels so much! There were a total of 4 of them (plus a store called Total Crafts and two JoAnne's) just a short drive from my house. Might be the reason my room is so crammed with STUFF. LOL! But your desk is looking inviting and I love your challenge card - love those warm colours and missing the sunshine today - it's TRYING to peep out without much success! Oh well, maybe tomorrow....

    Happy (day late) WOYWW!

  24. Love the images I can see on your desk - those big eyes always get me and you have coloured them beautifully.
Michaels so close - oh crikey - temptation or just a brilliant idea! I think the latter LOL. (especially with bargains like the punches)
Hugs, & Thanks for visiting me - Neet 44 xx
