WOYWW

 So Here is my space this week it's PRETTY NAKED !!! I must say not much going on other then waiting on the mail man to give me the rest of the ATC's that are stuck in Canada Post which is SLOW!!! My desk isn't that exciting as last week we where working on the house and when that was finished I went out into the backyard through the scrap pile of wood (before it goes into the skip) and found enough to make a patio harvest table 9 foot by 3 feet which will be great. I've done one sanding on the top and just have to wait for some rain free days to get out back and cut the rest and give it a light sanding then put it together. Seal it up and have it out back  The DH is leaving it all to me and enjoying that I'm the one making it but it comes down to I want to have people over and we need somewhere to sit down to enjoy ourselves. 
It's only a pile of wood at the moment and I'll take a picture when I'm done with it and it's all put together :)

    A good collection so far, the post here is slow too. Sounds like you are going to have some people visiting soon when the table is finished, now that will be fun.

    I remember when Annette lived in Canada and how LONG it took for mail to get to me. I said it would have gotten here faster by pony express. I can relate and understand.

    While going through my ATCs, I was saddened by the fact I hadn't gotten one of yours. Imagine my surprise when I opened that gorgeous little package with the darling tag. Thank you, thank you. Happy WOYWW from #1.

    You are ok, I too am waiting for one atc. In fact I had forgotten about it until I read your post. Nice selection you have got already though.

    Hi Nikki, great minds think alike I have just got out one of those plastic ATC binders, decided to put them all together. I didn't do this last year and I am still searching to find all the ones I received in 2014. I have been swapping ATCs since about 2008 so have a few to go through yet but I will find them Lol!!!!

    I can't believe how slowly the envelopes of ATCs have travelled...starting to make me panic that you haven't had them yet, but am reassured that your think at this point it's just Canada Post being slow! I love that you've managed to pull out enough timbers to make a table, it will be so slovenly to sit at your own work!

    Thanks for sharing the great photos..Love all the ATC's hoping next year I can get mine done for the crop, just couldn't happen this year Mail travel just isn't what is used to be. I too decided I need different storage so will have to get on that. #32...have a fun week

    Your desk does look suspiciously naked but sometimes lots of blank space leads to great things.... I guess in your case it is leading to furniture making! That's quite the project (says the unhandy girl). The ATCs are lovely and while the post is frustrating, it just prolongs the good mail days. Judy #56

    Your mail sounds like ours in Australia. It can take days for a letter to get across town. I hope they all turn up soon for you. The ATC's you got are gorgeous. I'm super impressed that you are making your own table and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

    Hi Nikki, I don't think I've visited your blog before... I'm very impressed by the tidy desk! Though it sounds as if that is unusual (which is good, because, you know.. I just can't be friends with someone whose desk isn't messy! ;-)
    I'm impressed that you are building a table that is 9ft long. I may have tackled something smaller by myself in the past, but couldn't attempt it now without help; but 9ft is a mega table! I wouldn't ever try that alone. Kudos to you and good luck!
