Happy WOYWW everyone May you be having a bright and sunny week
Well we've been having such wonderful weather we've barely been inside but have started working on the backyard which really needed to have the fences fixed up two sides at least.
So I've only been creating a few sketches this week on faces I played in a challenge and it started the ball rolling into a few perhaps some new face digi in the works because of this
Close up of the faces done in pencil and pen at the moment
and working on a new butterfly one wing done now to finish it off
So I will try my best to get around to as many desks as I can
Have a wonderful day
Hugs Nikki

Great sketches, Nikki, you've really caught those faces well and the butterfly wing is lovely. I've been working outside too but it's too chilly overnight to start planting out my veggie seeds!

Awesome.. I soooo wish I could draw like that. Beautiful. Elaine No. 24
ReplyDeleteGreat faces!! It's a temptation to hide in the craft room, but I do try to get out when the sun is shining - it doesn't do it here in the UK often enough for my liking!! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #29
ReplyDeleteMorning Nikki and it's a lovely sunny day here again today. Your faces are beautiful and the butterfly wing too. You certainly are really talented. Enjoy the rest of your day. Barbxx #26
ReplyDeleteLove your sketches! It's all about practice, isn't it? Would love to see how you digitalize them. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #36
ReplyDeleteBeautiful face sketches. I've started sitting outside to read in the afternoons instead of resting on my bed. I love being outside when it's sunny. Take care Zo xx 35
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. So wish I could draw like you - if I attempt a face, then I have to tell everyone it is modern art! Probably why I started papercrafting, as I can use other people's images. Ali x #33
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki, I really do appreciate your drawing skill. Amazing. We too need to get into our garden and do some work, like you have some fencing needs replacing. But we need to get one of Beloved Hubbys brothers to help, as I'm not allowed to lift anymore, so can't do it! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the face you've drawn. Wish I had that talent.
ReplyDeleteIt's been lovely outside here and have been enjoying the weather too. It's hard not to after the long cold winter.
Happy WOYWW

I love the way you label the contents of your desk, Nikki. So helpful to a nosy beak like me :) Your sketches are beautiful. It's a beautiful day here so I've been out working in my garden too - got to keep those weeds down somehow. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #31
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skeches!! So jelous ;)

I love those faces. I am doing faces at art classes at the moment. I've done one lady and now I am copying a famous photo of Marilyn Monroe in pencil. Quite a challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting earlier,
Have a good week,
Lisca
Nikki, beautiful faces. wowowow.

Hi Nikki, gorgeous art work. Your drawings are brilliant such a talented lady. Just finished the shrine so will post it soon. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x 25
ReplyDeleteLove your faces. I find drawing symmetrically so difficult that I might steal your idea of partial faces when I do something in my journal. Is that ok?
ReplyDeleteI do admire your talent, and enjoy seeing your artwork on your blog. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx (late again, I know)
Your drawing talent always leaves me in awe. So pretty. Thanks for pointing us in the direction of Christine's blog candy last month. I won one of the prize packs! Creative Blessings! Kelly #43
