WOYWW 5th Anniversary

WOYWW 5th Anniversary Link Up !!!

Happy 5 Years everyone !!!!

I have some fun buttons for you all to take and show off on your blogs and one even with a little moustache for the boys or if you love that darker colours. So I've been showing off my space now for almost the 5 years I started a couple months after Julia started it and have been hooked every once in a while I take a break like everyone does but it's so much fun to peak into every one's spaces and see all that fun stash and what everyone is creating ... its so addictive
I still haven't done anything to my desk yet seeing I've been busy gardening etc but I plan on working on later this week , I hope.

Gift Wrap Elf

Still trying to get ahead of myself and make a lot of early Xmas Cards.

This cute little gift wrap elf from Kraftin Kimmie is just so adoarble and I wanted a super sparkly ribbon coming off that reel. So I used my new WOW embossing powder. LOVE it is super fine with lots of BLING!!! Matches the super Glittery Ribbon too :)

WOYWW

Well it's week 259 at WOYWW with one Week to go before the Swap and can't wait to see what everyone created I'm a dope I was so excited to have finished them that I mailed them without taking a picture lol. So I'll be surprized as to who gets what. I've decided I don't want to know what 2 I have left so I'll put a name on each envelope and pop those in the post too lol 

I like things in their place if it doesn't go back I get side tracked and have to put it back. So my desk is still floating in the middle of my room. I'm still working on the new back panel for it and going to so nothing hits the wall and I can have shelf space in front have to work out how high to make it and how the shelves will work out I pan on it to sit on my desk like the one I threw together with scraps that where lying about our house. 

 My New Stash From WOW embossing 6 glittery embossing powders that the mail man dropped off today I'm going to play with them very soon. This is a Limited Edition Set that is called "girls night out"  It has the most fun names "Bling Bling" , Blue Lagoon , Campari and Soda , Black Russian, Port and Brandy, and Vodka Sparkle. I can't wait to see how they all turn out when embossed :)

WOYWW

Well last week ... Yet again I had to move my whole desk and stick it in the middle of the room so we could paint the baseboards ... it's still sitting in the middle of the room seeing I had an idea of using our 100 year old baseboard trims to create a back wall for my desk the wood is cut to remove the top leaving me some beautiful planks of wood that is 4 feet by 6 inches now I have to strip away all the paint that was on them, with a heat gun (YUCK I HATE THE SMELL) then will put the wall together then figure out some shelving etc to attach to it I have no idea but it will be a board that sits on my desk so I can move it around, and to top it all off I know I'm going to have to move my space again tomorrow seeing we are getting the rads pulled out to be moved into their new spots seeing we insulated the wall some are just being moved 4 inches forward but what can you do.

So this is what it looked like after I moved it .. the mirror on my desk was so I could do my make up before we went out the joys of living in a renovation lol.Now here's my space today.
I've been painting some salvaged sconce lights to go in our living room they need a couple more coats of paints you can still see some of the blemishes on them but they did come with the cutest little glass light shades that are soaking seeing they had paint on them.
Oh and that LOVELY GREEN Envelope on my desk is from Andrea we swapped ATC so I'll be saving what's inside for the big swap day and show it off then ... I loved what she did BTW :)

Little tags

Well here is a little set of Christmas Card tags or mini cards which ever way you look at them

But I'm sure to be using these for presents I love the look of them.

So the embellishment is a chip board cut out coloured red then I took some dark brown inks and rubbed them along the edges to make it look older and give it more depth. Drew in the 3 little lines

then embossed it twice once with some gold frantage just a little dropped on and then embossed

Next I embossed with WoW clear on it witch took out the shine of the gold and blurred it into the clear which is the effect I was looking for.

Well here is my space today I've come the concussion that I think I have enough markers until they start running out I am going to try my best not to get any more Seeing I just picked up a 24 set of Pastels Spectrums on the weekend with my other half looking at me do you really need more ... DUH of course I can, I don't need them BUT I WANT THEM !!! Ugg I put them down twice and then had to pick them right up again till he looked at me if you want them just go get them lol. I've been good with most of my stash lately but I have a week ness for , Artist supplies I have a lot of mediums hiding around and trying my best to use up what I have on hand first, but there is always something you want out that is new !!! So I am colouring more images in. Till I can figure out that brown pile to the left which is suppose to be a set of xmas cards if I can ever figure out the layout that I like.

Sunny Hello !!

This is what I made for National Scrapbooking Day !! 

How Cute are these guys that I had to make a matching envelope to go with the card I made this is One of High Hopes Stamps "Happy Sunflowers" They just make me smile when I look at them !!

I tried to do the envelope in a softer colour so I didn't even use black for the stamp more of a grey so the mailman will deliver it to the right address and get to distracted by those smiling faces :P
