Happy Woyww everyone today I was greeted with some happy Mail from Judy we did a little card swap a while ago and this is the card she sent me a lovely hand painted elf he's fantastic along with a few goodies to play with. I've been playing with my markers again colouring up a bunch of images with not a thought to how I'll use them ... but that's how I work lol
Regarding my markers I've been adding in little labels to the edges of them seeing the name always erases off and the lids aren't really true to the colours inside so that's been a slow process but it was really bugging me. I own a lot of different types of markers (there is only 1 copic in the whole bunch) I'd have to say the ones that I'm loving the most right now is my pro markers and the ones that annoy me the most is my spectrum they have good colours if you can get the lids off, they aren't easy to pull off and when you do sometimes take the whole marker nib area with it leaving the center of the marker exposed. They need to fix that design flaw. K I'm done with that rant lol
(the Picture up is my Grandma in her fancy wheels)
That pile of pink May Arts ribbon I'm thinking of trying to sew that all together ? maybe

Oh dear, I came and left a comment ad then realised i had two winows open - not I don't know if my comment came through.

I keep meaning to put labels on the sides of my distress ink pads but never get round to it... there are other things to do with my time! Re your comment - use all my stamps???? I knew I was going wrong somewhere!! Helen #4
ReplyDeleteI can see why the pen thing annoys you! Write to the manufacturers, you never know, they may listen :-) and go Grandma, bet she's a girl racer now!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 13 xx
I like the compactness of your desk. Everything to hand. Annoying about the pens though. Don't laugh but I have the same trouble with my shampoo and conditioner, they are the same colour except for a faint colour change on the product detail. But as I explained to the manufacturer I can't see that when I'm in the shower with no glasses on. So I've had to put tape round one to identify the difference. Trouble is I forget what the tape depicts haha
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

Job well done on labelling, I should get a start on labelling my stamps. But always seem to be distracted by something else :-)Vicky#19

I love the elf card you received. It's great! I finally got my markers back from my daughter. She decided that she didn't really like them. At least I got them back lol. I haven't tried pro markers. I might have to give them a go.

Lots of work on youre hands :)

I labelled all my distress ink pads... and then promptly always put them hurriedly back in their case with the labels pointing backwards. I really should be more careful :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Wednesday

Oooh I just got packs of the spectrum glitter brush pens ( they are similar to the wink of stella with a ring that need removed, then you put it together and shake and shake and shake ( like its a paint pen) and then mostly you get the flowing glitter ( it is way cool ) but, its a job to put the pens together... ( and the first use they glop out in puddles) but, the thing that got me was the color dried closer to the the index on the pens but, wet is WAAAY different. ( and patience is not my virtue) ~Stacy #55
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki. How great to get happy mail! I still use my Stamping Up markers I bought a decade ago! I've added some other markers but not too many. As always your desk looks nice and neat.

Will you sew a line down the middle, or lots of neat joins. And then what? How interesting! The problem with the Spectrums would drive me nuts...luckily, I have none. Struggle on!
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki, I started okay this morning but got tied up with a difficult project so only just getting round to starting my visits. Those pen tops really annoy me I end up with ink all over the place sometimes. Desk looks organised wish mine did. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 26
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card and it's so sweet that you keep a photo of your grandma on your desk. I always kill my markers with acrylic paint that's not completely dry yet. I've wasted so much money on them already. It's my fault, really. Thanks for visiting earlier, zsuzsa #36
ReplyDeleteYour coloured images look lovely- I am a copic girl myself although I do like the look of the new chameleon pens. Thanks for the visit yesterday - sorry I am so late with my comments this week! Soojay x
ReplyDeleteLove Happy Mail. Even my husband now uses the term when he brings mail in the door for me. hehe I would send your comments about those marker caps to the company. They can not fix something if they are not aware of a problem. You may make lots of people happy in the process ;-) I am always amazed at how much you have in such a small space. Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #42
ReplyDeleteIf i'm too busy to do swaps, I'm too busy- must get on that! piles of ribbon plague me! I enjoy organizing- must go make some labels!

What a lovely elf card you had from Judy. It's fun to get happy mail. I'm a very messy crafter and not very organised but I have put labels on all my Distress ink pads and it makes life so much easier. Barbxx
