Well I thought I would try making a Cracked Ornament with my stamp from SOME ODD GIRL even have a monthly link up to show off their stamps too.
I have a few for my own tree at home, I love them but I did learn a few things about crackle effect on a card. I made a red ornament (matching her hair) then used the crackle on top let it dry came back to a neon Bright orange ornament and so I went over it all over again with a red marker to remake it red which it did but it's a bright red instead of dark. Now I'm, happy with how it turned out. Next time I'll guess I'll try sealing in the colours first.

How sweet!! Thanks for joining us at Some Odd Girl for our July Linky Party!
ReplyDeleteGreat card - a really cute image. I've had the same problem with a red Promarker and Glossy Accents! If you start with a darker red colour, it works much better.
