WOYWW

HAPPY WOYWW
Just wondering do other cat owners have the same problem as me.
I try to keep space on my desk, so I can work and create until this happens
Yep ONE FAT CAT looking for attention and willing to get in the way to do it!!
This happened to me last week as I was working on some Christmas Cards
He just takes over and the next thing I know I have a little 6 inch space to work in
ARR if you weren't so cute lol !!

So here is my space today and I have some new Goodies to show off this week too
So you can see my stash of xmas cards to the left and I'm still making more I think I'll run out and I'm starting to fill some out so they can make it out early in the post to every one on my list On the Right there's my happy mail from Kay it's a tad late but it's so amazing !!
So here's what Kay Sent me a beautiful pullover scarf and some lovely pictures she took and turned them into cards my fave one is the wood door frame but they are all wonderful works of art :)
She did send me a wooden "N" but It found a place on my window ledge in my bedroom
Next I've taken out my LOTV stamps and started stamping some out
,that and my printer is almost out of Ink everything prints out in a light grey.
and also some new CC dies I was lucky to have won from their blog hop in oct
so I've just started playing with them
and I'm in the middle of making a purple and black Christmas cards who needs just red and green ones. Lots of non traditional colours and I found some Christmas papers I forgot I owned
funny how I only store them in 2 places 6 by 6 and 12 by 12  ... Must look through the WHOLE pile lol.
I also wanted to share this thank you from one of my giveaway's from Tinka
A Fabulous thank you card with some handmade crochet hearts and flowers for me to play with
and seeing I don't crochet this is so fantastic to have to be able to play with
I know I was taught when I was small but I don't remember how anymore perhaps one day I'll try it again but that won't be for a while ... so many things to try not enough time in the day

So here's my space at the moment
thanks for popping in
I'll try and visit as many peeps as I can
hugs Nikki

Also if anyone wants to swap a Christmas card with me let me know and if I have some to swap I'd be happy to :)

  2. Oh Nikki, lots on your desk this week.Goodies, crochet, mail! I just can't believe that cards need to be sent.Where did November go?!!
Thanks for your comment about auntie.I am quite disappointed, but daren't take any risks after the last asthma attack. It did scare me a bit. After 4 lots of Ventolin, it still hadn't eased. These days it's 4 puffs of 4 inhalations.$ separate treatments means 16 puffs in about 2 hours.

    Feeling better today.

  3. Gorgeous kitty! My three cats sprawl over the floor in my room, as it's under floor heated, trying to trip me up instead. You've received some lovely goodies from your friends.
Your card below is just fab. I love the snowman, he's great as is your colouring of him. The embossed background looks really lovely. Debra x

  4. I was taught to crochet too when I was young and I too have forgotten now. Bet we could pick it up quite quickly if we set our minds to it.
Love your cards from Kay, and some knitting, lucky you, they are quite stunning with her photography on. Lucky you as well for winning those crochet bits and bobs. Was definitely your time winning all of these.
Have a good week finishing those C Cards.

  5. Oh Nikki - I forgot to say how lovely your cat is. Lucky you for having such a beauty share your space with you. Neither of my two ever did come into my craft place - now I am wondering why?
    Hugs, Neet (again) xx

  6. I would shortly stroke the cat and then gently nudge it or put it on the ground, no coming in between me and my crafts :-) Vicky(#8)

  7. Aw, the catsare incredibly skilled at getting your attention! I see you didn't hoik him off, just worked in a smaller space! Kay is a wonder, she is incapable of posting a small card I've decided! Her photos are fab aren't they - what a great selection you've got there. I'd love to send you a card..but will need to be reminded of your address...you know how hopeless I am over these things!

  8. I don't let my cats anywhere near my desk as I can't afford for my fabrics to get covered in cat hair! So it's easier to keep them out in the first place. You've had a some lovely mail...that Kay, she's so generous!!
    Hugs, LLJ 15 xx

  9. Love your cat... I can imagine mine doing that too... at least the kids complain that he does that upstairs while they are trying to get their homework done! Since we got the dog (two years back) our cat moved upstairs, and doesn't come down for more than going out or coming in :)
Happy woyww, good luck on your cards!

  15. What a lot of lovely things you have on show today. Do go back to crocheting. If you learned before, it will not take you long to get it back and it is very relaxing. And you don't need much room so a certain cat will have plenty of space to snuggle up. xxx Maggie. #18
