This is my second mini Valentine pocket letter that I have made this one. with a lot of hand drawing and painting seeing the group that swaps a lot of people do OOAK so my partner has this already and loved it so I thought it was time to share it here.

Yeti Pocket Letter

I joined a swap group online and this is one more hobby to help use up my stash so or get new stash depends on how you look at it lol I can finally post this as she got it Yesterday :)

I've used a Yeti from Limited Runs Stamps and all those lovely Pine trees in the background is Artistic Stampers Pine tree I made it look faded with paint and distress ink you will be seeing more of this tree used for sure so useful this is

Pocket Letter

Here's a Pocket Letter I've made up and I've found I like them to have one background paper and build off of that plus this paper is just so pretty to look at too with everything on in it.

I love all the blues and Greens with purples looks like what I'm planting in my garden this summer

Pocket Letter Swap

Here is the last pocket I sent out for Roni's swap. I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent it off but the address I sent it to was off by one number and that one didn't exist so they sent it back to me so now I can share it with you all seeing I did have to repackage it and it should arrive shorty to Michele without any delays now 

I love the bg paper so that is where this was all inspired from all the embellishments have been altered so they go really well with the bold reds I hope Michele likes this I did use a lot of embossing on the camera with black and gold. On the just a note using embossing powder makes everything richer in the colours and matches the prefectly.

Here's the backside of it with all the goodies mostly wrapped up so it will all be a suprise when she opens it. The letter is tucked behind the coffee mug or tea if your like me and could drink a gallon at one time lol. I even used the left over paper to make a few matching tags too.

Pocket Letter

This is the best picture I could take as some of this I decorated inside and outside on the PL,

and I've sent this off to Claire it's her first swap and my third for a PL

I'm hoping she will like this I just loved the paper I started off with  and went from there

not sure if she knows it but part of this GLOWS IN THE DARK thought I grabbed my clear Embossing but was glow in the dark so I thought that would work even better

Snail Mail

This is Snail Mail from Limited Runs I used this image to send all the way down to my friend Judy in Australia there are days the post office is slower then a snail I swear.

I wanted a bright Cheerful card to mail and this is what I ended up making
When I make a card I honestly have next to no plans with it just maybe an image and zero direction lol

Challenges

The Card Concept - Bold and Layered - Love using a bold colour and simply layering it up to make the image just pop off the page this is a take on a  CAS card really just with Designer papers instead of white space as there are really next to no embellishments.

Winter Themed Pocket Letter

Well I made a pocket letter for my sister she wanted to give it a try and we choose the theme of Winter which is harder then you think while trying to avoid the word Christmas 

My sister loves snowmen so I thought I'm make up a winter house and a little snowman and we won't mention Santa is in there lol

House image is a Rick St James and the little snowman in the corner is from Limited Runs

The Snowflakes have all been embossed with Wow and all around each card with White to give it that snowy effect Love how their super fine embossing shows the super fine details in the snowflakes

The treats behind 

we choose handmade and dies cuts that each of us don't own + a little Ribbon.

Seeing she works in a scrap booking store, it makes it tougher on me to send stash

Fairy Hello

Here's a card I made for Judy we been swapping back and forth so I'm hoping she likes orange seeing I colour my images first then work the card around them mostly. I love this light orange and when colouring it on the dress it gives it a really kewl texture to it when you push the ink around. 

Which is using a lighter colour over top a darker colour to push the ink about.

Little Flower Fairy

Today I'm Finally able to share a Mini Pocket card for Judy it's a 4 by 4 card but if you mail it lays flat and open then it's perfect for a standard letter mail envelope which I own WAY to many of so I see a lot more of these cards being made.  It is a CAS flat card that won't get hung up in the post and it's light enough that I can add in some goodies without going over the cost of a stamp, which I love to do !!!

Now I added in a little pocket in the inside to slip in a little note all across so now this card is able to be reused for someone else when needed in a pinch :)
