10 Years at Incy WOW !!!

Kitty in a Stocking

We have two wonderful sponsors this Challenge at Incy Wincy

A day for Daisy which I used below and also Polka Doodles  too the rest of the DT made some killer projects with those images.

Our challenge is to create your own BG and I hand drew in the fireplace cause hop cute would it be to get a kitty in a stocking for christmas not like he would stay in for long. But Cute!!

Coffee hop

It's Day 1 of the Coffee Hop and I had to make at least one card for it so here I am using Limited Runs Coffee Cup Snowed In  and I've shrunk the image down and used Watercolours on it to create this card I love how the sky turned out.

Review - Watercolour Paints - Royal & Langnickel

This set comes with 18 Paint tubes all 12ml Size and 2 Paint Brushes this is a great starting point for a beginner and they aren't to expensive that it will break your piggy bank.

I did find just the paint on Amazon for 24 tubes HERE

Plus there is a lot of paint in this to play with and if it drys out in your container add water and it will act like a cake watercolour. So Bonus and you can mix your own custom pallets up with these how much fun is that

The Brushes included aren't even that bad at all I usually use a smaller tip brush when making small ATC little works of art
These watercolours I have really enjoyed using

Here are a few samples of how these paints can colour up from vibrant to soft colours. With a really good amount of transparency 

So these are a great value for your money with a lot if paint to practice and play with.

Update May 2021

These are student grade paints but and I knew one of my good friends daughter could use some fun watercolours to play with she's just started getting into them and these are pretty decent and I still use a couple shades today. Since I upgraded to the professional lines ages ago 

The mini paintings I still have and the colours have held up over time really well plus they are kept in a book so that might have helped like most watercolours they should not be kept in direct light

Just how kewl is this image Rick St Dennis made up some wonderful new digi for us all to play with for those in need of birthday cards this girl just screamed at me BRIGHT colours are needed so that's what I did. I don't know if you been in his shop lately but he's really added in some new cuties to go with his darker stuff.

Little Halloween Fun

Well it seems I'm just making ATCs these days I have started a huge painting to create but so far I've painted the white bg and stopped seeing I have no idea what to paint not a clue lol
I thought I'd try and make some ACEO's and see if they might sell on Ebay ? Maybe I'm not sure if I'm ready to part with these yet but here is my space for this week

So here they are up closer they are Ink and Watercolour

Happy WOYWW here's my space this week Been working on Christmas cards YEP I said it !!!! made 10 of them to add into the growing pile.

So here's a close up of what I'm doing you can see one of my funky cards and some of my new atc have arrived in from a group I swap with on Facebook there is over 5000 swappers so someone is always around to take a card or two off your hands.

Missed last week so just a little FYI the winner of my Gorilla is in the sidebar it's been claimed and he's flying his way to Australia.

So Here's my Space this week I've been still making ATC been colour up Chris Ryniak's Morning Scribbles too Cute they are I want a page of them made up it seems and a few C cards too out of him.

My new Tri- colour Pencils you can see that each one has 3 colours in them just started playing with them and having fun with how they shade an image quickly 

Was asked about my scrap box it's 14 cm by 24 cm Approx so it's not that big but holds a lot 

 Here is what is in it all labeled up Missing it the picture is a note pad and a post it package.
I don't have a lot of scraps seeing I reach for this 1st and if I find I haven't used the paper in a while then I recycle it. the advantage of keeping it contained I guess.

Here's My Space this Week and I've been working on an ATC that a request remake it is like the fish that I can't part with under the Precut ATC's .  Seriously that show off on the right has been getting a little funky these days lol.  So my Giveaway is on the go if I make top 3 then one lucky person will be getting my silverback gorilla.  Yah please go over and help me out by voting on facebook Link in sidebar or in the post below. The 28th is my BD so I plan on eating some ice cream and cake lol 

My Sister sent me a whole box filled with goodness too for my BD and she was kind to cut me all those ATC's out now they are ready to be coloured on !!

Now for some of you might think I'm a little crazy but I really like to have things put in small spaces so I did what most would never do

THIS IS MY WASHI DRAWER 

There is over 120 Different types of Washi some full-ish rolls

YEP I took them off their rolls and put them in on heavy paper covered in packing tape 

now they take up next to no space and I have room for more. Funny how much more space there and the DH thinks it's not that bad now lol

this way takes up no space and is easier to find a type too

Happy Mail

Use your own Hand writing this challenge at Incy Wincy we have Rick St James as a sponsor I love working with his images they are fun to colour I did slightly alter this image by erasing out the US Mail , I live in Canada so thought it a touch odd for me to have that on my Happy mail card seeing I'll be sending it out as Happy Mail lol

This has been Coloured with Watercolours and for those that don't think yo can colour a digi with watercolours you can you just have to do light washes and slowly build up the colour and avoid smearing the Black ink lines so it does take a little time to do but it is do-able.
