Sister's Grimm

Here are the Sisters Grimm I wanted to make something with them so I made some scary little cards with detachable Bookmarks The Names stay on the cards but the images get popped out of the vintage style picture corner holders and into your fave scary ...Vampire,zombie,horror novel lol. Now I ask what's more scarier then little girls holding knife's ... yep bigger girls holding bigger knifes lol. The sister's can't always be scary cause Madison trade her knife for a lolly pop... yep Sugary Sweet's wins out I guess when your little lol . I've also aged them up with inks,chalks and Embossing powders too .

JUST A QUICK POST :)

Julia's Baby = WOYWW well my desk is a bed it seems for my kitty. So I thought I would share my attempt at a tear bear, it's okay nothing like some, but it's okay for now perhaps I need a different paper it didn't want to fluff up right or I'm just doing it wrong lol. will have to try again later on

MY RIBBON BOX

For a peak into my Ribbon box, Eventually I'll swap out the tupperware container for a black matching box when I take a trip to ikea :)

Now for those of you who love to organize ...My ribbon box ... it's a little neat lol but I find it easy to get what I need quickly

Well this is just fantastic WOYWW is getting so big it's like a blog hop of fabulous finds

Julia has started it all out of curiousity of seeing other's rooms/stashes and now look at it very full of fun stuff going on everywhere and might pick up a new trick or two along the way

Lets see found some lovely touchy feely textured paper and wanna try and make a tear bear  with the mulberry paper .. should be an interesting disaster lol  ... Julia I used 3 of the flowers YAH!! on that card .. ripped em apart and colored and put them back together part way.

Vintage Garden & the Fairy

Vintage Flowers - I don't own any but a little playing around and

Ripping apart some big ones and adding in some "Touch Marker - Pale Cream" over a bright

white flower and old flowers as quick as I can color them

The Flowers have little Mini Beaded centers

I am so loving the look of this Now what Type of card to

make this ... Humm I don't know lol

Close up of Altered Metal Embellishment .. it just had to match better

I used White Embossing (Heated it in Place) then used a mustard ink around edges then

put in dots with a Brown Zig marker then reheat it to set inside the White embossing

Powder and Voila a One of a Kind Metal Flower Let it cool completely before touching

Well lets see what's on my desk My new Book on Turner/Whistler/Monet but I bought it for Turner he's my fave painter love how all his work looks the colors depth etc... Whistler and Monet are OK but I skip those parts. My new touch markers I LOVE Them only have 8 but all are mostly for shades of skin Pencil crayons are great but these just have a more realistic feeling to them more even tones I guess and they match my black little pencil holders **BONUS** I also bought a black Pleather top for my table ... could no longer look at my coffee stains and take a picture of my desk lol . So now my table has gone Goth it seems all that black on it
Some paper flowers trying to use them somewhere (your not the only one Julia), Plus trying to create a scened image for a card hoping to finish it in time but who knows if I will for what I picture it to end up in my head

There's even a little sneak peak of one of my newest digi's I've been working on

have to test them out first lol

What's it called when your Obsessed with owning tons of scissors ??
I actually was switching between all of those on my desk including the exacto blades

Here's my Painting hung up on the wall with 2 coats of gloss on it

too shiny I can actually see myself in it so have to go buy some matte and it will

look like the 2ND one at least then you can look into and start seeing things it could be

seems lost with all that gloss

Okay so I got tired of a boring Desk

What's on your Workdesk Wed ... mine is ...EVERYTHING lol I thought Why Not Grabbed one BIN and dumped it then realized Susie might be around and Dumped another .. it had a couple punches in it ,I'd hate to see her go thru withdrawal .... even in the mess it's slightly orgainzed.. and perhaps color cordinated lol

So I've posted one trashed then cleaned it really quickly, just took off what didn't belong and left what was hiding underneath .. It only lasted the photo and had to be put back proper lol .. I'm going to be reusing my fave tea tin there makes a great little holder for my pencils and pens but it can't look that way now it can't look that way must make it a little pretty. I am going to have to get some new felt soon but I want Black this time around to hide all those coffee/tea spills .. who really pays attention to there cups when they are working.. I do ...Not !!! LOL

I only wanted to cover one but liked it so much that I did

Here's My Desk (Wanna see more Desks check out Julia who started it all HERE)with nothing to show only for the fact that I've been painting instead and trying my best not to get it on the floor. As my lovely DH would say get it on the carpet and I'll kill yah. Only for the fact that he knows when I get into it I totally forget about the floor, walls myself as I try to focus on one thing the painting and nothing else but here's my desk. My Sister sent me a little package and you can see she sent me inchie cards with envelopes .. now what to do with those I haven't the clue but I'm thinking a card with mini cards in it ? My artist pad is covering over my clear/unmounted stamp binder. Yep that's all I own it's more of the fact that stamps verses Digi's are slowly taking over and my printer is getting a workout . It's a 2 feet by 4 foot board that is to go into our dining room. It's more about the colors and mood and it matches there is about 5 or 6 other ones all underneath since I've started and it has changed color pallets alot at one time it was half redish and brown. Here's what I've been working on I'm done except it needs to be mounted up to hang and a good couple coats of varnish to seal it in because it's done in acrylic or I'll never be able to dust it off.

This Picture really doesn't show how Rich the colors are
But I'll take a picture when it's hung up and It could be a while
seeing my DH is busy fixing something else and he'll have to cut the

wood for the back :)
